Description
These web sets are based on the late 70s to late 90s webbing worn by New Zealand soldiers. Made up of components sourced from New Zealand cadet units which in turn received these from the Defence Force when phased out.
They are made up of a mixture of US M56, ALICE, and Korean made ALICE clone webbing purchased by the NZDF during the 1980s. The magazine pouches were originally designed to accommodate the L1A1 magazine (based on the Australian made design) but were found to be also suitable for the Styer AUG once adopted. Canteens are not supplied with these web sets but soldiers were often using any 1qt canteens they could find.
This set contains a US M56 belt and suspenders, US ALICE canteen pouches, and first pattern NZ L1A1 magazine pouches and buttpack.
