Description
New Zealand Army DPM boonie or locally known as 'J-hat'. This model was issued during the mid to late 90's seeing use in deployments to East Timor. Has been modified for a shallower fit.
This colour variant of DPM which first saw issue in 1993, was locally nicknamed 'Diesel' DPM due to the darker hue than previous colourations. Probably the shortest lived variant due to how quickly the material was known to fade.
