Description
The official date for adoption of Lithuania's flag is 2004, but the the flag dates back to 1918 during the countries first period of independence. In 1940 Lithuania was occupied by the Soviet Union and only re-adopted its flag in 1989, a few years before the fall of the Soviet Union.
The flag has a white strip on the side with two metal eyelets.
