Description
Iraqi M80/03 helmet. Based on the earlier M80 helmet from the 1980's which was originally of South Korean design, these are far from an improvement and rather a cost cutting measure due to the sanctions in the 90's. Considered less protective than some steel helmets, these were standard issue for the Iraqi Army during the 2004 invasion of Iraq and saw some use in the years later, being phased out for the far more useful PASGT helmet.
