*Note* Our latest batch of bags have come with a thinner, fixed length strap, sewn onto the back.
These bags are what the German Army currently use to transport their gas masks around in. They are designed to be both accessed quickly but also safeguard the integrity of the mask.
Made with a tough cordura nylon outer, the bag has a internal rubber lining with seal taping to keep the environment out, but someone has gone and attached new strapping to these bags! This isn't ideal, as the stitching compromises the waterproofing of the rubberised interior + the fixed length strapping is not as good as the old original ones.
The bag is opened by pulling on and releasing a rubber strap and unfolding the top. Storage is simple - just one main compartment with a small sub-pocket to store things like spare lenses etc. You can carry this bag over your shoulder with a fixed length strap or you can unpick it and integrate the bag onto a Bundeswehr web belt system, using the attachments on the back.
