Description

The US Marine Corps FILBE (Family of Improved Load Bearing Equipment) is a series of equipment designed to be compatible with the newest body armour systems. This hydration pouch is MOLLE compatible and can be worn on the back of a plate carrier system or alternatively on the surface of a large rucksack.

The pouch is secured to a MOLLE surface with 4 PALS tabs that have snap domes. To add your hydration bladder (not included) there is a plastic clip and adjustable strap you simply open at the top of the pouch. Inside there is a cord loop you can feed the drinking tube through so the bladder doesn't slouch. If you happen to not secure the lid on your bladder correctly or get a leak, the pouch has a large drain hole to release the build up of water. Made from a hard wearing codura finished in coyote brown, these have plenty of life left in them and will protect your hydration bladder well.

Features:

  • Authentic USMC surplus
  • Designed to fit 3L bladder (suited to wide types, some long 3L bladders will not fit)
  • Plastic clip closure
  • MOLLE compatible
  • Cord loop to hold drinking tube in place
  • Drain holes

Well worth having

I really wanted the bladder outside of my pack so I was not having to unload to get the bladder in or out. This is exactly what this is for, has an internal support loop for the bladder and hose to pass through, it’s a good size and strong enough to use as additional storage if not a bladder.
