Pack covers are used by the military to better camouflage their packs. It works by covering up hard edges created by the pack which stand out in a natural environment. These covers should have a reasonably baggy fit to soften the shape of the pack making the camouflage more effective.

This pack cover is genuine British army surplus so you know you're getting a quality product. Being the smaller version of the cover this is designed to fit over side packs or small day packs. The MTP camo is effective for a mixture of environments including woodland, mountain and desert. Wrapping the cover around your pack is fast and easy with the strong elastic rim.

Good stuff

I have been using this for my 30L bag and although it isn't mentioned it works very well at keeping my bag dry. Whilst less of an issue on my larger hiking pack the only issue I have with this cover is that it's intended purpose of reducing the silhouette makes it slightly less effective at allowing rain to roll off but this is a very minor problem

Blows consumer products out of the water.

I brought two and they arrived rurally in two days. Both of them are in seemingly new condition and I'm guessing have just been sitting on a shelf their whole life. The elastic is super heavy duty and the waterproofing is so much better than commercial hiking gear. Dumped a 1.5l bottle of water on them to check and it just rolls right off. Stoked.

Solid piece of kit

Good quality fabric and most importantly the elastic is substantial meaning this item should last a long time.

Top quality

Pretty much new, a commercial one in a store like this would be five times the price.
Now on standby in my day pack, pretty sure it will do a fantastic job when needed

great for bush bashing

Picked up one to cover my 20ltr day bag for bush hunting, stops straps getting snagged, stops pouches getting full of crap, protects items on the pack. easy on and off, not waterproof but water resistant (spray a bit of dwr on it) very quite fabric, tough as nails. covers my 40ltr bag well also.

Mates were so impressed they all have them on their day bags, cheap and easy way to protect packs.
