Description
The flag of Albania has a very bold red background representing bravery, strength and valor. The double headed eagle represents the sovereign state of Albania. It has had some tweaks over the last century but the base flag was established when Albania gained independence from the Ottoman Empire in 1912.
The flag has a white strip on the side with two metal eyelets.
