Description
The British Army adopted the S6 gas mask from 1966 to 1986 before its replacement by the S10 - these bags are what the S6 was issued with. These bags are built with a rubberised coating to protect the mask and its components from water and CBRN environments. These are mostly half a century old now and the rubber may be somewhat tacky but will resist water to a certain degree. As with all gas mas bags these have a external pouch and some internal ones as well for various accessories such as filters or spare lenses etc. Gas mask bags were often repurposed for other roles such as carrying first aid gear, cameras or gear that needs to keep dry - there are plenty of things these can be repurposed for in the civilian world as well!
