These Garrison caps are known under many aliases such as; flight cap, wedge cap and most notably side cap. They have been used all over the world, by many different countries and organizations. In most cases these caps are worn by airforce personnel, but army and navy have also adopted the style for their use. The two most common colours are blue and green, representing the navy/airforce and army, respectively.
