Description
*Note* Some of these jackets are missing the add on hood buttons around the collar, some have small repairs - these will be picked at random.
A vintage piece of military clothing, the French M64 combat jacket. In 1964, the French Army received a new battle dress which fit much closer to the body, had zipped chest pockets and was made from a sateen material to protect soldiers against chemical agents. These jackets were manufactured before the budget cuts at the start of the 1980s, when the lighter and more fragile F1 uniform was issued.
A ruggedly built jacket which will embrace the outdoor lifestyle while the slim fit seamlessly blends in on the streets. Protection against the elements was a priority in the design of this jacket. This is why it includes a storm flap under the front buttons, secondary cuffs under the outer shell and a tightly woven sateen fabric. Additional features include two zipped chest pockets and two buttoned waist pockets for storage. They may be over 40 years old but they are by no means, ready to retire.
