Description
*Note* These buckles have a unique design to open them - we would recommend trying to open one before wearing it as there is a small art to it. See second photo for reference
These belts were mainly produced during the 80's for the Austrian Bundesheer. The Austrians for a long time have copied elements of the US ALICE system and adapted it into their own. These belts work in all the same ways being able to mount ALICE pouches except for their buckles. It takes a bit of practice to open one - leverage pressure in the middle and twist up. The one positive these have over older metal hook versions is they will never come undone by accident!
If you want a solid ALICE style web belt or want to complete the ultimate Austrian collection, grab one of these belts!
