Description

You could get a pair of commercial waterproof trousers that will do the job, but they're missing one thing  they're not German Army surplus! With these rain trousers you get a quality German build and of course, the iconic flecktarn camouflage pattern. Built using a waterproof and breathable membrane called SympaTex® - the German equivalent of Gore-Tex®. Dated around the early 1990's.

These over-trousers can be donned quickly and easily over your boots with the use of the zips on the lower legs. An adjustable brace system secures the trousers by placing elasticated straps over your shoulders. The braces are sewn in to a bib which covers the lower half of your back. Zips on the sides give you access to pockets underneath. A must-have for hunting in wet weather.

Features:

  • Genuine German Army surplus
  • SympaTex® waterproof membrane
  • Elasticated braces with quick release buckles
  • Zip-up fly
  • Lower leg zips for donning over boots
  • Side zips for pocket access

Done the job and more.

As advertised. Kept me dry throughout this winter without fail. Generous cut has made it easy to slip on and off. All zips and buttons have worked a dream. Have not had to respray a coating yet so membrane is still good. Side pocket zips are generous enough I can access my cargo pant leg pockets easily.

Great option for working in the rain.

I needed a pair of rain pants for a short term contract. Some of the bib trousers I looked at were $200 plus. I have a pair of sailing bib trousers that cost hundreds of dollars at home but I didn't want to start wearing them and get them covered in mud, etc. These are lighter, waterproof and are still surprisingly warm which is great as I have an old injury and arthritis. Surprisingly good, especially for the price and I highly recommend them. Mine didn't show any wear at all and I am very happy with my purchase.
