Description
The Modèle 1978 helmet under the designation 'F1' served the French Army from 1978 until 1992 when it began to be replaced by the SPECTRA helmet. Being the last steel helmet to serve the French army makes this a somewhat special piece representing the end of a era in French military technology.
Many of these 'battle tested' helmets might have the odd dent but will still provide a good deal of protection for your noggin. The liner is adjustable and has thick padding surrounding the head band as well as the top. The chin strap/harness has 3 points of contact which can also adjust length in each direction. Complete with a Central Europe camo (CCE) cover with rubber ring to hold it on.
A great practical piece of French military history, pick one up for your collection or your next paintball/airsoft impression.
