Despite appearances the 'Vz92' was never intended to be a camouflage. Instead it was supposed to be a work uniform that could soak up stains without looking too messy. The uniform was introduced in 1992 for the Czechoslovakian Army which was in a period of transition. It was replaced by the 'woodland' like Vz95 pattern in 1995 making these trousers few in number.
Made from a cotton blend these pants are a lightweight and comfy fit. They have most of the basics of a uniform - 2 front hip pockets, a back pocket and buttoned fly. Strangely enough they have no belt loops, instead they are equipped with an internal draw cord to keep them secure on your hips. They are also reinforced with another layer on the front knee/thigh area. This helps extend their lifespan greatly when working on your knees.
Our Czech Vz92 field trousers have a unique leaf like pattern and are a great piece of European history. Having only been issued for a few years these are getting harder to come by. Add some today to your military collection or take some out for hunting, airsoft or paintball. Get a genuine piece of Czechoslovakian surplus today!
