Description
Despite appearances the 'Vz92' was never intended to be a camouflage. Instead it was supposed to be a work uniform that could soak up stains without looking too messy. The uniform was introduced in 1992 for the Czechoslovakian Army which was in a period of transition. It was replaced by the 'woodland' like Vz95 pattern in 1995 making these jackets few in number.
Designed with work and exercise in mind these are very comfortable to wear. The jackets are made from a very lightweight cotton blend. With a partially elasticated waist they are formfitting making movement easier. The chest has 2 buttoned pockets ideally sized for a small notepad or maps. Above the right hand pocket is a small hook & loop tab for identification patches. Finally the wrists and front of the jacket are fastened by buttons.
The Czech Vz92 field jacket is a rare piece of European history with a novelty pattern. These are getting harder to come by making them perfect for collectors. Alternatively they still have plenty of life in them for hunting, airsoft or paintball. Get a genuine piece of Czechoslovakian history today!
