Description
Good ole British bergen. A tough pack issued to infantry with adaptable capacity, due to the removable side pouches. The 70L main compartment has pockets to the front, top lid + underside of lid. Simple! At 10L each, the olive side pouches appear to be later additions (likely not original) and if your gear is too long for these (such as sleeping mat), there are compression straps when the pouches are removed.
This is the short back version - for people around 160-173cm (5'3'' - 5'8''), but some may find the shorter length is easier to wear with webbing. With plenty of life left, this ruck is ready to bash bush and would be a great addition for a hunter, hiker or anyone ferrying around gear. The DPM is easy on the eyes too!
