This Serbian helmet is the definition of tough and sturdy. The design is a classic military helmet shape, that also has a Yugoslav counterpart. From the side profile, the NE 44 has a resemblance to the iconic Spanish m.38, and the inner strapping bears similarity to the US m1 liner.
