Description
Turkmenistan adopted their flag in 1992 after the fall of the Soviet Union. The flag features a representation of the country's famous carpet industry on top of a green background. The crescent represents Islam and the five stars represent the five regions of the country.
The flag has a white strip on the side with two metal eyelets.
