Do the SAS need an introduction? Hardly. Originating in the North African desert in 1941 then a corps in 1950, the Special Air Service specialise in counter-terrorism, close combat fighting and special operations. On this patch the SAS insignia with motto overlies a greyscale Union Jack backdrop.
