Description
Luxembourg first used their flag in 1848 and officially adopted it in 1993. The country interestingly had no flag prior to 1830 until patriots urged the government into action. The red white and blue colours were derived from the House of Luxembourg's coat of arms.
The flag has a white strip on the side with two metal eyelets.
