Description
Liechtenstein officially adopted their current flag in 1982. The current design came about in 1937 after the country found out their flag was identical to Haiti's civil flag at the summer Olympics. The former flag just being the blue and red stripes, the crown was added to save confusion between the nations.
The flag has a white strip on the side with two metal eyelets.
