Description

The British Army adopted the 'FN Minimi' as a light support weapon. The Minimi (short for Mini Mitrailleuse) is designed to put down large volumes of automatic fire for suppression and needless to say is hungry for ammo. These 'drums' (or ''nutsacks'', thanks soldiers) in particular are the smaller size, carrying 100 rounds - less rounds total but more easy to carry and maneuver. The British military has since pulled the Minimi in favour of the larger 7.62 weapon systems. Good news for surplus enjoyers!

A clip catches onto the bottom of the Minimi securely and a plastic conduit provide a solid feed for the belts of ammo. For loading up the drum the bottom has a heavy duty zipper that opens all the way around for loading up a belt neatly. This zipper secures with a snap dome to ensure a heavy belt of of brass doesn't end up falling out and dragging on the ground.

Whether you are fortunate enough to live in a country where you can own a minimi, fancy some airsoft DIY or are a avid British military collector, grab a DPM minimi 'nutsack' today!
