Back in 2000 we decided to get a bit of World Wide Web action. We set up a basic website - kiwidisposals.co.nz - the first army surplus website in New Zealand, perhaps the world. Since then, the site has seen four major overhauls, this latest offering being the fifth.
It seems like yesterday we were announcing the launch of a new web site (about a year ago actually). Here we are again, a new site with an updated interface and some big improvements 'under the hood'.
The increasing use of tablet computers and smart phones for browsing and shopping online has prompted a 'digital overhaul' of our online shop. With so many different devices, operating systems, browsers and screen sizes, getting a website to work flawlessly on all devices is beyond a challenge.
